10 things you can do instead of staying at home blue

If the blues have got you down, you should send them. While there’s nothing wrong with being blue once in a while, there’s certainly no reason to let them keep you at home. Here are ten things you can do to let go of that sadness and enjoy life again!

• Activate your karaoke! Nothing is more fun than singing in or out of tune with other people. This is a certain way to have fun!

• Go shopping! Nothing beats sadness like buying yourself something extra special. Don’t go for the obvious choice either; Make it a task to find the best that you absolutely must have.

• Drive. As simple as it sounds, when you roll down the windows and turn up the volume on the stereo, you’ll find yourself starting to feel amazing again.

• Go to dance. Visit a club and just be surrounded by people dancing and having fun. There’s nothing like sweating to get back to feeling good!

• Go to the cinema! Don’t stay home, go see a first-run movie you’ve been dying to see. Now is the time to do it!

• Take a box of dog treats to the dog park and start meeting new dogs. You might also meet a new friend in the process.

• Rent some skates and go. It’s great exercise and can help lift your spirits. Be sure to get the safety gear too!

• The people look. Head to the park and watch the people there. Create a stage for everyone present and think of a way that you can connect everyone to a larger group.

• Walk around the mall. Sometimes window shopping is as much fun as real life is. In fact, go to the high-end stores and try on clothes you could never afford. It may irritate the employee, but it’s a lot of fun.

• Dance in the rain. If it’s not raining, make it rain with your garden house and let it all out. This can be a fun way to relax. People may look at you, but it can help soothe your soul.
