English bulldogs on skateboard

Skateboarding dogs as such are a sight to behold, but the lazy English bulldog is even more fun. Even if English bulldogs are generally considered lazy, they can sometimes be surprising. Whether it’s because they’ve discovered that it’s easier to push themselves on a skateboard than to have to run or because they love to have their tongues flapping in the wind, there are quite a few skateboard bullies out there.

Bullies are very intelligent dogs, but even if some feel they are difficult to train due to their stubbornness, it is not the part of learning that they have trouble with. Otherwise, you couldn’t train one to skate. The problem comes in execution, that is, bullies tend to want to do things when they want and not when you want. Unless, of course, you really want him to, but it will take a long time for him to do what you want if he’s not in a good mood.

However, they have certain advantages over other dogs for this sport. Due to their robust bodies, low center of gravity and force, they have better balance and can more easily “manipulate” the skateboard. Their stubborn streak is a bonus in this case too, as they won’t give up until they succeed, especially if they’re having fun.

English bulldogs, even if they are lazy, are very playful dogs, albeit at a different rate than other pets and for much less time per day. This, of course, means that if they are presented with a skateboard as puppies to play with, they will love it and the learning process will be easier.

Even if their behavior is, let’s say aggressive, they are actually extremely kind and loving dogs. Like all dogs, they love to please their master and family, but English bulldogs become even more attached to their family and will therefore want to please you endlessly. But you should not force him to do things that he is uncomfortable with. If he doesn’t even stand on the skateboard, it may be wise to let him go and find some other activity that you can enjoy together, as you may not have the “talent.”

These dogs are among the best pets you can have. They are incredibly loyal and surprisingly kind to children. Although they are not known as watchdogs, they still protect what they consider to be yours and that usually means you. Even if they are very sociable with everyone, including all street men, women and children, they can quickly change their behavior if they feel threatened. And what better watchdog than an English bulldog running towards a perceived threat at high speed on a skateboard. Who Needs Teeth?
