Don’t deprive yourself of hearty meals—grill your fruits, vegetables, or lean meat for flavorful, smoky, and satisfying dishes without feeling guilty about losing a few extra pounds.

Try these healthy and delicious grilled recipes to lose weight:

Turkey Burger with Kale and Mushrooms

What do you need:

  • 8 hamburger buns, preferably wheat

  • 1/2 kilogram of ground turkey

  • 4 baby bella mushrooms

  • 2 cups fresh kale

  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh oregano leaves

  • 1 tablespoon chimichurri sauce

  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Avocado slices, to serve

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté onion and garlic until tender. Add the mushrooms and kale, then cover and cook until the vegetables soften. Let cool. When ready, combine the mushroom-kale mixture with the ground turkey and season with oregano, chimichurri and salt. With clean hands, form patties. Cook on a preheated grill over medium-high heat, turning once, to the desired doneness. Top buns with sauce of choice, then top with turkey burger and avocado slices.

Grilled Peaches with Yogurt and Honey

What do you need:

  • 3 peaches, halved and pitted

  • 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • Cinnamon powder

Combine the Greek yogurt and honey in a small bowl. Set aside. Cook peaches on a preheated grill over medium heat, cut side down, until grill marks appear. When done, top the roasted peaches with honey and yogurt. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.

Grilled Beef and Sweet Potato Wraps

What do you need:

  • 6 whole wheat tortillas

  • 1/2 kilo sirloin steaks, thinly sliced

  • 6 cups cubed sweet potatoes, steamed

  • 3 cups thinly sliced ​​cabbage

  • 1 cup thinly sliced ​​white onion

  • 1 cup thinly sliced ​​fresh basil

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice

  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic chutney

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Cook the meat on a preheated grill over medium high heat until cooked through (slightly pink in the center), about 2 to 3 minutes per side. To make the dressing, combine the lime juice, soy sauce, canola oil, chili garlic sauce, and brown sugar in a glass jar and shake to combine well. Place cabbage and onion in a bowl and toss with half of the dressing. Arrange the grilled beef, sweet potatoes, and cole slaw on a serving platter. Drizzle meat and sweet potatoes with remaining dressing. Serve with tortillas.
