Botox and Dermal Filler Courses For Non-Medicals

Botox and Dermal Filler Courses

The botox and dermal filler courses for non medics are designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants (PA), dentists, hairdressers and other beauty therapists who want to add cosmetic injectable treatments to their practice. The course is taught by highly experienced physicians and other aesthetic professionals who are passionate about teaching their own unique techniques for performing and creating the best possible results with these popular procedures.

botox and dermal filler course starts with a theoretical session covering the background and history of both these effective and safe procedures. Then attendees move on to clinical hands-on training where they will perform model client consultations, come up with treatment plans and inject the models all under the guidance of their instructor. Models and products are provided for this part of the training.

After this foundation phase you will be able to apply the principles of these procedures to your own patients and start seeing real results. You will be taught how to use the FDA approved neurotoxins Botox and Dysport for forehead lines, glabellar lines (frown lines), crows feet, bunny lines and other areas as well as dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Sculptra and Restylane to address a variety of facial wrinkles and volume deficits. You will also learn how to sculpt the face and create an enhanced natural shape with these products.

A special focus is placed on how to correctly and effectively identify the right candidate for these treatments and how to maximize the results when your patient has budget restraints or other issues such as poor results from another practitioner’s mistakes or pre-existing asymmetries. The course also covers how to treat men as well as women and includes discussion of the gender differences in anatomy, skin structure, and physiology.

This advanced program is the next step in your journey to becoming a master injector. It builds on the knowledge and skills learned in our foundation program and focuses on the use of the FDA approved dermal filler products such as Juvederm, Sculptra, Restylane and others for filling in the cheeks, temples, lips and other areas. Also included is an introduction to the new submental fat reduction product Kybella.

In addition, you will be introduced to a number of “off-label” uses for both Botulinum Toxin and dermal fillers for the treatment of a variety of facial lines and wrinkles. These include the “Liquid Face Lift” which is a combination of Botulinum Toxin with various dermal fillers and is a very popular procedure requested by clients.

Attendees will also receive support forms and templates of consent, policy and procedure for their practice as well as practical advice on how to get started, marketing, pricing, and a 1-year membership with the Cosmetic Nurse Injector group. This enables you to use the protected title CCNI (Certified Cosmetic Nurse Injector) after your name.
