Molloy College

Fast facts

With just over 3,500 students enrolled, it wouldn’t be wrong to call Molloy College “unique.” It is dominated primarily by white, black, Hispanic, and Asian/Pacific Islander ethnicities, an impressive diversity for the limited enrollment. However, this diversity is not as diverse as the female to male ratio, with female enrollees accounting for close to 80% of the student body. The low population allows for another notable figure, the FTE (Full-Time Equivalent Students-Teacher) student-faculty ratio of 10:1 (for every 10 full-time students there is one full-time teacher).

Athletics

The Molly Lion is the mascot for the university in men’s cross country, rugby, lacrosse, baseball, soccer, equestrian, and basketball. The Lion is also seen in women’s volleyball, tennis, softball, soccer, lacrosse, dance team, rugby, cross country, and horseback riding.

Tuition and fees

Tuition costs for a full-time student will be just over $10,000, with each additional unit costing $700.00 each semester. Of course, there are course fees, for example, a general fee of $155.00 is added to the full-time student (12 or more units) and decreases with fewer units. Out of the gate with all fees included, you could be paying upwards of $12,000 to attend Molloy College.
