Brickell Miami: more than just a financial district

Brickell Miami is a great place to kick back, relax, and have unlimited fun. Though epithet for Miami’s financial district, this neighborhood is the symbol of great fun, excitement, and recreation. In addition to numerous renowned international banks, Brickell is also home to Miami’s major shopping areas, restaurants and entertainment centers.

This urban Miami neighborhood is surrounded by incredible attractions in all directions. There is Biscayne Bay to the east. The north is occupied by downtown Miami, the central business district of South Florida. The center is home to several key attractions including parks, museums, theaters, and playgrounds.

Miami’s main library is also located downtown. This district is also the educational site of Brickell, and most of its public elementary schools are located here. Neighbors to the south include Coconut Grove, CocoWalk, Dinner Key, and Vizcaya. There are many parks and historical places of interest to the south.

Coconut Grove is famous for many things, including its festivals and carnivals, great cuisine, fabulous shopping malls, and dazzling nightlife. The Kampong Tropical Garden and Barnacle Historical State Park are other notable Coconut Grove attractions.

CocoWalk is a large outdoor mall in Grove, home to retail stores, a movie theater, and numerous restaurants. Dinner Key is a marina on the eastern border of Grove. West of Brickell is the social, cultural and political center of Miami, Little Havana.

Located near the northeast of Brickell is the famous Brickell Key, the man-made triangular island, known for its high-rise residential buildings and towering hotels. A stay at these high-rise hotels offers an incredible view of the beautiful stretch of ocean waters.

The buildings with the historic Art Deco style of architecture that adorn the streets are a great sight. Along the streets you can see a variety of beautiful local shops selling a variety of wares. The Art Deco district is also home to the eminent Wolfsonian museum. There are also various natural and cultural attractions for tourists to explore.

The rise of lavish luxury beachfront condos has transformed this Miami neighborhood into a trendy real estate destination. More and more people have come to prefer the tall and prosperous towers, which provide an incredibly luxurious lifestyle for the residents. As an ideal location that provides a prosperous lifestyle and offers great recreation, Brickell is one of Miami’s fastest growing neighborhoods.
